Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pretzels (crushed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Crush pretzels in a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, one for beaten eggs, and one for crushed pretzels.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first in the flour, then in the eggs, and finally in the crushed pretzels until well coated.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Combine mustard, cheddar cheese, and cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until melted and combined.
  8. Serve the pretzel chicken with the creamy mustard cheddar sauce, alongside steamed green beans or a simple salad.
