Description
Delightful no-bake treats combining peppermint and white chocolate, perfect for the festive season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies (or candy canes)
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafer cookies
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: additional crushed peppermint for topping
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
- Mix ingredients: Once melted, stir in the crushed peppermint candies, sweetened shredded coconut, peppermint extract, graham crackers (or vanilla wafer crumbs), and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Shape the snowballs: Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place the snowballs onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill: Once all the mixture is formed into balls, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Decorate (Optional): If desired, sprinkle some crushed peppermint on top of the snowballs before they harden completely.
- Serve: After the snowballs have set, serve them immediately or store them for later!
