Delicious and tender street tacos made easily in a crock pot with flavorful meat and customizable toppings.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of flank steak or pork shoulder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of beef or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortillas for serving
- Toppings: diced onions, cilantro, lime wedges, salsa
Instructions
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to a Crock Pot.
- Place the flank steak or pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic.
- Mix the broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then pour over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Shred the meat with forks and mix it in the sauce.
- Serve in tortillas and add desired toppings.
Notes
Check the meat around the 6-hour mark to avoid overcooking. Use quality meat for the best flavor.
