Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Cajun smoked sausage, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the sausage for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Plate hot and garnish with chopped parsley.
