- 1 lb Cajun smoked sausage, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the sausage for 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream, and bring to a simmer.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Plate hot and garnish with chopped parsley.
