Description

A delicious and simple Japanese stir-fried noodle dish featuring thick udon noodles, succulent shrimp, and colorful vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 200g udon noodles
  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook udon noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss in julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper. Stir until they are slightly softened.
  6. Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan along with soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  7. Stir-fry everything together for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the noodles are well coated.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and top with chopped green onions.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your quick dinner!

Notes

Don’t overcook the noodles. Prepare all ingredients beforehand for smoother cooking.
