This Wookie Cookie recipe is soft, chewy, and spiced with cinnamon—just like the treats from a galaxy far, far away. Perfect for themed parties or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment.
8. Scoop dough onto sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes.
9. Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough longer before baking.
Store in an airtight container up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
