Description

This Whirley Pop recipe makes fluffy, delicious stovetop popcorn in minutes. Customize with sweet or savory toppings for the perfect snack.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup popcorn kernels

2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable oil

1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, for kettle corn)

1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste

2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)

Instructions

1. Place Whirley Pop on stovetop over medium heat.

2. Add oil and heat for 30 seconds.

3. Pour in popcorn kernels and sugar (if making kettle corn), then close the lid.

4. Turn the crank continuously to keep kernels moving.

5. When popping slows to 2 seconds between pops, remove from heat.

6. Pour into a large bowl and season with salt and melted butter, tossing to coat.

Notes

For a healthier version, skip the butter or use air-friendly oils like avocado oil.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
