Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup of the granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough base.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer. Pinch the seams of the top and bottom dough layers together to seal.
- In a small bowl, mix together the remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle this cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top dough layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Let the bars cool completely in the baking dish before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang.
- Cut into bars and serve.
