Instructions
- Toast the slices of bread to your desired level of crispiness.
- Spread a generous layer of hummus on each slice of toasted bread.
- Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Slice the avocado and layer it on top of the hummus.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any optional toppings you desire.

Notes
Store leftover hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-7 days. For avocado toast, prepare the toast and hummus in advance, but add avocado just before serving to prevent browning.
