Instructions
- Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Add granulated sugar to the chocolate mixture and whisk until thick and shiny.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt gently until just combined.
- Pour brownie batter into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chunks or chips on top if using.
- Preheat oven to 340°F (170°C) and bake for 22-25 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.
