Description

A comforting and cheesy sandwich filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and toasted bread, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread or Texas toast
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  4. Place cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of a bread slice, then spoon the beef mixture over it, followed by mozzarella cheese. Top with another bread slice, buttered side out.
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle to medium. Cook the sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Let it rest briefly, slice, and serve hot.
