A comforting and cheesy sandwich filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and toasted bread, perfect for any occasion.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices white sandwich bread or Texas toast
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of a bread slice, then spoon the beef mixture over it, followed by mozzarella cheese. Top with another bread slice, buttered side out.
- Heat a skillet or griddle to medium. Cook the sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Let it rest briefly, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with salad, fries, or tomato soup for a complete meal.
