- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 4 cups tater tots
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Cooking spray or oil
- Green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with ranch dressing and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Spray a baking dish with cooking spray or oil. Spread the tater tots evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the chicken mixture over the tater tots, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tater tots are crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier version, consider adding diced jalapeños. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
