Description

Rich, fudgy brownies swirled with gooey caramel and crunchy pecans, perfect for parties or as a simple treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the batter.
  8. Use a knife to swirl the caramel into the brownie batter.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
