- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the batter.
- Use a knife to swirl the caramel into the brownie batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the batter for tender brownies and use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
