Description

Delicious Tuna Melt Patties that are crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, perfect for a quick lunch or tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, cheese, mayonnaise, beaten egg, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy as a sandwich or appetizer.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the ingredient mixture to keep the patties light. Chill the mixture if it feels loose for better shaping.
