Description

A creamy and rich Thai peanut and soy sauce dip that balances sweet and savory flavors, perfect for salads, spring rolls, or as a marinade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 12 tablespoons water (to thin, if necessary)
  • Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, sliced green onions, or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and soy sauce.
  2. Add honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and smooth.
  4. If the sauce seems too thick, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Taste the dip and adjust sweetness or saltiness by adding more honey/maple syrup or soy sauce, as preferred.
  6. If desired, garnish with chopped peanuts, sliced green onions, or a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

For best results, use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture. Customize with spices or additional herbs as desired.
