Description

A delicious grilled salmon recipe inspired by Texas Roadhouse that highlights the fish’s natural flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Brush the marinade generously over both sides of the salmon fillets and let them marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes.
  6. Flip the salmon and place lemon slices on top while grilling. Cook for an additional 6-8 minutes or until flaky and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with the grilled lemon slices on the side.

Notes

Use fresh salmon for better taste and texture. Always check for doneness to avoid overcooking.
