A delicious and wholesome protein bar recipe that doesn’t require protein powder. Packed with oats, nut butter, and seeds, these bars are a perfect snack for any time of day.
Ingredients

- 1.25 cups oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3/4 cup cashew butter
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (melted and cooled)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (for melting chocolate chips)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients and prepare your workspace.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats and almond flour. Mix well.
- Add the cashew butter to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Stir in the hemp hearts, coconut oil, maple syrup, salt, and vanilla extract until a dough-like consistency forms.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture firmly into the dish.
- Melt the remaining mini chocolate chips with the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour to set.
- Cut into bars and enjoy!

Store protein bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
