Description
Delicious chicken wings coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze, perfect for snacks or meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Fresh chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by washing the wings under cold water and patting them dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Coat the wings by dredging them in flour until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- Heat the oil in a deep pot until it reaches 350°F (about 175°C).
- Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels.
- Make the hot honey sauce by combining honey, hot sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat until well mixed, about 2-3 minutes.
- Coat the fried wings with the hot honey sauce in a large bowl.
- Serve garnished with parsley or green onions if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan while frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
