Description

A perfect balance of sweetness and spice, featuring tender chicken thighs coated in a honey chipotle glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ÂĽ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ÂĽ cup honey
  • ÂĽ cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (canned)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and flour. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs until golden brown; ensure an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Remove the chicken and keep warm.
  5. Blend chipotle peppers into a thick paste using a food processor or chop finely by hand.
  6. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Lower heat, stir in honey, followed by chipotle pepper paste. Mix well.
  8. Return chicken to the saucepan, toss in the sauce, and cook for a few more minutes. Serve immediately.
