- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- ½ tsp salt
- ÂĽ tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Olive oil (for cooking)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ÂĽ cup honey
- ÂĽ cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (canned)
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and flour. Mix well.
- Add the chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs until golden brown; ensure an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove the chicken and keep warm.
- Blend chipotle peppers into a thick paste using a food processor or chop finely by hand.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Lower heat, stir in honey, followed by chipotle pepper paste. Mix well.
- Return chicken to the saucepan, toss in the sauce, and cook for a few more minutes. Serve immediately.
