- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and chopped bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, diced tomatoes, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted and well combined.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ingredients and adjust seasoning to taste.
