Ingredients

  • 12 Medjool dates
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 6 slices beef bacon
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the dates open lengthwise and remove the pits.
  3. Stuff each date with goat cheese.
  4. Wrap each stuffed date with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer.

Choose ripe Medjool dates for easy stuffing and consider using bacon that is not too fatty.
