- 12 Medjool dates
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 6 slices beef bacon
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the dates open lengthwise and remove the pits.
- Stuff each date with goat cheese.
- Wrap each stuffed date with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
Choose ripe Medjool dates for easy stuffing and consider using bacon that is not too fatty.
