Description
A refreshing strawberry sorbet made with fresh strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Hull and halve the strawberries.
- In a blender, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, water, and salt.
- Blend until smooth and uniform.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Optionally, strain the mixture to remove seeds.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow container.
- Cover and freeze for about 4 hours or until firm.
- Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
- Serve in bowls or dessert glasses, garnished with mint or strawberry slices.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Press plastic wrap onto the surface to prevent ice crystals.
