Instructions
- Wash the strawberries, hull them, and slice into smaller pieces. Place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add granulated sugar and lemon juice to the sliced strawberries. Mix gently and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Blend the strawberries until smooth, keeping a few chunks for texture if desired.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar if desired.
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream to keep it light and airy.
- Spoon the mixture into serving dishes or a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Garnish with extra strawberries or mint before serving and enjoy!
