Description

A light, fluffy, and flavorful dessert made with fresh strawberries, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries, hull them, and slice into smaller pieces. Place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add granulated sugar and lemon juice to the sliced strawberries. Mix gently and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Blend the strawberries until smooth, keeping a few chunks for texture if desired.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar if desired.
  5. Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream to keep it light and airy.
  6. Spoon the mixture into serving dishes or a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Garnish with extra strawberries or mint before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Make sure bowls and utensils are cold when whipping cream.
