Description

Strawberry matcha sago is a chilled dessert made with chewy sago pearls, creamy matcha milk, strawberries, and coconut jelly. Quick, refreshing, and viral-worthy.


Ingredients

Scale

½ cup dried sago pearls

2 tbsp matcha powder

½ cup hot water (176°F)

1 cup milk

¾ cup evaporated milk

¼ cup condensed milk

1 cup strawberries, diced

1 cup coconut jelly

½ cup strawberry jelly (optional)

Ice cubes


Instructions

1. Boil sago 15 minutes, cover, let sit until translucent. Rinse and set aside.

2. Sift matcha, whisk with hot water until frothy, stir in milk.

3. In a bowl, combine sago, evaporated milk, condensed milk, matcha milk, strawberries, jellies, and ice.

4. Serve chilled in cups or bowls.

Notes

Best served fresh. Store in fridge up to 4 days. Add fresh sugar or toppings when serving for best taste.
