Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the almond flour, powdered sugar, and ground freeze-dried strawberries.
- Whip the egg whites until frothy, then add granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the whipped egg whites, folding gently.
- Pipe small circles onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Rest the piped macarons for about 20-30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm to the touch.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet before filling with your choice of filling.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for a month. Use parchment paper to separate layers when freezing.
