- 2 (21 oz) cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish generously with butter.
- Pour the strawberry pie filling evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the strawberries. Do not prepare the cake mix according to package directions.
- Dot the top of the cake mix with the sliced butter, distributing it evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown and bubbling.
Notes
Do not mix the cake batter; sprinkle the dry cake mix directly on the strawberries for best results.
