Description

A delightful combination of bread and strawberry cheesecake flavors, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of bread (such as brioche or challah)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup strawberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, chopped strawberries, vanilla extract, and milk in a medium bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Prepare the loaf of bread by slicing it into cubes, making sure to not cut all the way through the bottom.
  4. Stuff the cream cheese mixture into the cuts of the bread generously.
  5. Brush the top of the bread with melted butter and drizzle the strawberry preserves over the top.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve by pulling apart pieces.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or yogurt for a complete experience.
