- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries and chocolate chips if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Make sure to use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. You can also chill the dough if it’s too sticky.
