Description
A delightful dish combining savory beef, tender noodles, and vibrant vegetables in a rich, sticky glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 1 lb. beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain them and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef to the pan. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, approximately 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Toss in the sliced bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar; allow the sauce to thicken slightly, about 1-2 minutes.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles to the beef and sauce, mixing thoroughly until well combined.
- Finish by garnishing with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Ensure not to overcook the beef for tenderness. You can customize the dish by adding more vegetables or adjusting the sauce ingredients.
