Description

Delicious Starbucks Oat Fudge Bars featuring a buttery oat crust and rich, fudge-like chocolate filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, rolled oats, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  7. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  8. Pour the fudge filling over the oat layer in the pan.
  9. Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top of the fudge filling.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until lightly golden.
  11. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting for cleaner edges. Wrap in an airtight container to keep fresh.
