- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup spinach, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Don’t overcook the pasta; use fresh ingredients for better flavor; let the dish cool before serving.
