Description

A delicious and satisfying meal that combines rich flavors of cheese and wholesome spinach, perfect for family dinners and potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup spinach, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Drizzle a little olive oil over the dish.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta; use fresh ingredients for better flavor; let the dish cool before serving.
