- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup spinach, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, half of the mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each cooked shell with the spinach and cheese mixture.
- In a baking dish, spread enough marinara sauce to cover the bottom.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish, seam side up.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the pasta shells to ensure they stay intact when baking.
