These stuffed meatballs are simple and full of flavor, featuring tender beef, warm garlic, fresh spinach, and a gooey mozzarella center.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (regular or gluten-free)

  • 1½ cups marinara sauce (optional for serving)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Thaw and squeeze out moisture from the spinach.
  2. Combine ground beef, spinach, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl and mix gently.
  3. Cut mozzarella into ½-inch cubes.
  4. Scoop 2 tablespoons of meat mixture, place a mozzarella cube in the center, and roll to seal.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
