Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring shrimp and broccoli, perfect for a nutritious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook for an additional minute to coat the shrimp and broccoli in the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they only need a few minutes. Ensure broccoli remains slightly crisp.
