- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 lb salmon fillet, cooked and flaked
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 sheet nori (seaweed), cut into strips
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a large pot, combine rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
- Mix the cooked salmon with mayonnaise, Sriracha, and soy sauce until well combined.
- Layer the cooked sushi rice evenly at the bottom of a baking dish. Spread the salmon mixture over the rice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until heated through.
- Remove from the oven and top with nori strips, avocado slices, green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Serve warm and enjoy the comforting flavors!
Notes
Rinse the rice well to prevent gumminess. Mix ingredients evenly for consistent flavor. Adjust Sriracha for spice preference.
