- 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the spicy Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
- Lower the heat, then mix in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
