Ingredients

  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Asian chili garlic sauce (or Tabasco sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. Rinse the salmon with cold water and gently pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the salmon on a large sheet of aluminum foil and season it generously with salt and ground black pepper.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the spicy honey sauce over the salmon, coating it evenly.
  6. Fold the aluminum foil over the salmon to create a tight packet.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, checking for doneness after 15 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, carefully unwrap the foil and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
