Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl in a separate small bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Use a knife to swirl the mixture slightly.
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread before serving.
