Description

S’mores cupcakes bring the beloved campfire treat into a delightful dessert form, combining graham crackers, chocolate, and gooey marshmallows for a year-round treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Extra marshmallows for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, then sprinkle a layer of graham cracker crumbs on top.
  6. Add another layer of batter until the liners are about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  9. Top with chocolate frosting, extra marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs for decoration.
