Description

A delicious blend of smoky sausage, sweet honey, and garlicky goodness, perfect for any dinner occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook penne pasta until al dente for about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced smoked sausage. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  4. Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the sauce.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and optional Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of water or olive oil.
