Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook penne pasta until al dente for about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced smoked sausage. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and optional Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of water or olive oil.
