Description

Tender and flavorful meatballs cooked in a delicious teriyaki sauce, perfect for dinner or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey, chicken)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, ginger, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles, or with toothpicks as an appetizer.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the sauce. Adjust sauce amount for a thicker consistency by adding a cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
