Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and beef broth in a slow cooker.
- Add the beef chuck roast, ensuring it is well coated in the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water to form a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker, then cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve the beef over rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For added flavor, consider browning the beef in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker, although it’s optional.
