Delicious French bread slices topped with savory sloppy joes and melted cheddar cheese.

- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 yellow onion (diced)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (15 ounce) can sloppy joe sauce
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350° F (175°C).
- Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a lined baking sheet.
- Add a little butter or oil to a large sauté pan and cook the diced onions over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Add the ground beef to the pan, crumbling it while cooking, until no longer pink.
- Drain any excess grease if necessary, then stir in the sloppy joe sauce until well combined.
- Spread the sloppy joe mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges of the bread are toasty.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!

Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for 1-2 months.
