Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Brown the chicken until golden on both sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and cook until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and cover to keep warm.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until soft.
- Stir in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, and spoon it over the chicken.
