Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the chicken until golden on both sides.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and cook until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and cover to keep warm.
  7. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until soft.
  8. Stir in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  9. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, and spoon it over the chicken.
