Description

A classic dish with a rich, creamy sauce that perfectly complements fettuccine pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook Fettuccine: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it is melted and bubbly.
  3. Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté it for about 1-2 minutes, or until it becomes fragrant.
  4. Add Heavy Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes, stirring frequently to avoid sticking.
  5. Whisk in Parmesan: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Season: Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve: Serve the pasta immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For an extra kick, add freshly cracked black pepper on top before serving.
