Description
Delicious shrimp tacos filled with fresh flavors, crunchy cabbage, and zesty lime, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups purple cabbage, shredded
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Combine the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss to coat well.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until they are soft and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked shrimp on the warmed tortillas. Top with shredded purple cabbage and chopped fresh cilantro for added flavor and crunch.
- Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos before enjoying!
Notes
Do not overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor.
