- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a mini muffin pan with paper liners or spray it with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this aside for later.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture. Mix until fully combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Scoop the batter into the prepared mini muffin pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep the desserts soft and chewy. Ensure butter is correctly softened to avoid a runny batter.
