Description

Delicious savory stuffed cremini mushrooms filled with Italian sausage and creamy cheese, perfect as an appetizer for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 cremini mushrooms
  • 1 cup Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the cremini mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooked Italian sausage, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer.

Notes

Store leftover stuffed mushrooms in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
