- 12 cremini mushrooms
- 1 cup Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the cremini mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a bowl, combine cooked Italian sausage, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
Store leftover stuffed mushrooms in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
