Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper (or black pepper)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (slurry)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or peanut oil)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 stalks green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, granulated sugar, white pepper, and cornstarch slurry in a bowl.
  3. Sauté the garlic and ginger in heated vegetable oil over medium heat for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and sauce to the pan, tossing to coat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles, toss gently, and serve topped with green onions.
