- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and gochujang. Mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Steam the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots in another pot until just tender.
- Serve the beef mixture over fluffy rice, topped with steamed veggies, green onions, and sesame seeds. Enjoy your comforting bowl!
